Sustainability
We care for the environment and are taking concrete actions to help reduce our carbon footprint. We also are concerned about using art supplies that are cruelty-free or without the use of animal products.
We try our absolute best to use cruelty-free/vegan products.
Paper: Our artworks are hand painted on vegan, acid-free watercolour 300gsm, 100% cotton, hot or cold pressed paper. The paper itself does not contain any animal derived ingredient. We typically use Canson Moulin Du Roy Watercolour paper. If any other paper is used, this will be specified on the artwork description.
Paint: We use vegan paint such as Royal Talens Rembrandt Watercolours, Lukas or Daniel Smith Watercolour paint to create our artwork pieces.
Brushes: All brushes used are made of the highest quality synthetic materials and do not contain animal hair.
At Sandal Adorned, we believe in recycling and try to opt for environmentally friendly options whenever we can! Our packaging consists of paper and cardboard. We mainly use protective brown paper as a filler and these are completely recyclable. We may occasionally need to use other materials as fillers for denser products so that they do not move around and get damaged during transit – in that case, we will endeavour to use 100% compostable packaging peanuts. If there are no better option, we will use 100% recyclable plastic. We also use paper tape to make it easier for you to recycle the boxes and envelopes that you receive from us.
